The following products are available now in the local area (Hokitika/Westland)

• Firewood – “Good Wood” Firewood. From sustainably grown plantation trees – nearly carbon-neutral! Local delivery in 3.6 cubic meter loads. We can cut the size and length to suit your log-burner or firebox (smaller sizes by arrangement). Sold ”wet” – needs 6 to 12 months drying before being ideal for burning. When dry, Eucalyptus Nitens provides nearly twice the heat output of pine. Phone us on 03 755 8470 to order

• Sawdust – Eucalyptus has natural antiseptic qualities. The sawdust is suitable for weed-suppressing mulch. Fill your own trailer – by appointment

• We can mill your logs if they are delivered to our site. Talk to us if you are thinking of using your own home-grown timber. But remember – it takes time to dry, and you will need somewhere to store it while it dries.
